Helping Hands and Big Hearts

Great Swan Peace Cathedral and Dandelion Ballad have been given countless hours of help, encouragement and other gifts by many wonderful people over the 45 years since it began. This support has helped me persist and carry this “Burden of Light” to the present. Here you will find a few of those people who touched me deeply.

Loren Stolley, my partner of 54 years was an amazing collaborator with endless practical skills and huge, selfless serving energy. I marvel still at the miracle he was in my life, how much he made possible as I was constantly guided to grow and serve difficult higher callings. Every step of the way Loren was there beside me creating with his developed technical skills, researching, experimenting, learning and growing to be able to help more.
There are no words to thank him enough…I simply weep in gratitude.

Joseph William Harvey, saved the day 10 months after Loren’s sudden passing in 2021, when Dandelion, in disrepair, was becoming unlivable and Great Swan Peace Cathedral yet needed interior finishing and more parts installed outside AND I was creating more still. Will was a “mixed bag”. I later learned he was known to his brothers to be a con artist. His help finishing and keeping the farm livable in so many ways was a true god-send, but he fulfilled his dark karmas too, while giving very critically important help that earned him real blessings. He disappeared into hiding (for good reason) after leaving. I was sad to see him carry away a burden of darkness along with the blessings that will go with him forever.

Bruce Kristal

Three months after Will’s disappearance Bruce Kristal came into my life suddenly with just the energy and skills needed for the next phase of Great Swan Peace Cathedral. Clearly Bruce was another god-send. It’s hard to imagine life now without the wonderful service and encouragement Bruce has been offering!

Bruce: “I was able to visit Great Swan Peace Cathedral for the first time since it’s semi-completion (Cathedrals are never fully completed) in May of 2024. As I sat down inside, I felt a presence of love enveloping me over my whole body that truly thrilled me.  Upon exiting I was so moved, I asked Candace what I could do to help bring the world to Great Swan Peace Cathedral to experience its peace and love.  She accepted my offer and I have been able to serve with my most important skills, financial and project management and other odds and ends, from shopping to watering etc, even though I do not live on Dandelion. I had no meaningful service in the world before this and it has given me a joyous greater purpose in life”.

Kate Noolan

Kate’s huge helpful energy impressed us greatly when she volunteered on Dandelion for 3 months in 2007. Happily, she stayed in touch all these years since then. She suddenly was back in our neighborhood and wanting to visit just before our first TV filming event. Kate’s help with cleaning and prepping was another one of those perfectly timed god-sends. It wouldn’t have happened without her. Here are her words upon first visiting Great Swan Peace Cathedral her 1st time on her latest visit.

Approaching the temple my body slowed down by the might of the spires.  Now standing before it, my jaw dropped in silent surrender.  I felt held there in a warm and easy embrace in spite of the chilly winter weather. Inside Great Swan, my heart swelled right up and out my eyes as tears, letting go in sweet sweet beauty and awe while my eyes rained love. My body buzzed and tingled and my back immediately aligned.  My heart was soothed where I didn’t know it needed to be.   The silence itself was full of soothing.  I was content.  Fully.

My heart was simply full and overflowing out my eye balls.  I contemplated the surge of energy and I found it empowering.  Wow.  I was just embraced by all the beauty..  Eventually creature comforts called me away but not before bowing to the awe.

Michael Harings

Michael was inspired by our service of sustainability research by living and doing everything sustainable since our start 46years ago. on Dandelion. As a spiritual practitioner
he was moved by our efforts to serve in the world and offered his brilliant web help as service to us, teaching me how to make and manage the original websites back 20 of so years. He has hosted the websites ever since, taking only fresh smoothie greens from the Dandelion gardens in exchange. He has always been there for real computer emergencies. And we all know what a balm that is to the heart! Perhaps the best part of this has been the long and delightful friendship that has ensued with this delightfully smart, wise with real wisdom and quirky tech bro. He has earned our love. Michael’s help has been HUGE over so much time. THANK YOU always, Michael!
